Youth Counselling Program

CMHA Huron Perth offers counselling and support to youth ages 12-18 who are struggling with their own addiction issues, or dealing with addiction issues of a family member or friend. We understand that addiction might be part of bigger concerns happening in young people’s lives, and offer support based on individual needs. Our services are completely confidential, and it is up to the youth who, if anyone else, is involved in their support.

Youth Community Treatment Program

The Youth Community Treatment Program (YCT) is a flexible treatment program that serves youth ages 12-24 years of age across the Ontario Southwest (London and Middlesex, Oxford and Norfolk, Elgin, Huron and Perth).

Our YCT program offers case consultations, navigation support and programming delivery services. We strive to make our programming accessible by offering virtually, in person and hybrid options. Our core programming is flexible and are able to meet the needs from virtual lunch and learns, workshops, reoccurring groups and community presentations for youth and/or their loved ones.

Our core programming also has a vast range of content from, education about substance use to problematic behaviours (e.g., gaming, social media use). We also partner with other community agencies to provide programming related to mental health ranging from healthy coping strategies, long and short-term goal setting, managing emotions, healthy relationships, and more.
